School starts in just a few weeks!

Oh my!  Where did the summer go?  In just a few weeks, we will begin school around here at the Amblin household.  I feel like I haven’t had enough summer with my little ones. :(  We’ve had such a wonderful summer this year with vacations to Florida and North Carolina.  We’ve been to the pool almost every day.  We’ve seen movies, ridden bikes, hiked, been to baseball games, participated in a Pokemon tournament for the first time, had smore’s and more smore’s, barbequed, and just plain enjoyed the relaxed days of summer.

Now that I think about it though…I need to get some things ready for school.  We have to get out and take advantage of those school supply sales.  I need to go through our school bins in the basement and pull out binders, pencils, etc that are still useable.  I need to weed out the homeschool cabinets in the study and re-stock them.

*soccer and swimming for PE

*Christian Character for Families

*Devotions for Young Readers

Phew!  There’s such an excitement that comes with opening new curriculum for the year!  At least for me there is.
