I posted below about heading to the thrift store in our area to look for some church skirts and fall shirts. I didn’t find any frames but I totally found some great clothes!
Here’s what I bought for me:
- Talbot’s Petites Long Gabardine Heather gray skirt with slit up the back, straight, slim NEW with tags!
- Talbot’s Petites Long muted floral heavy cotton blend skirt with built in belt and funky buttons. Slim style NEW with tags!
- Old Navy black skirt with diagnonal thin silver/white striping. Slim fit, slit up the side, high waist. Terrific condition!
- Navy blue straight pencil denim skirt with two side slits and cute tie in the front. Great condition!
- Ann Taylor silk/cotton (80%/20%) blend fine gauge sweater. 3/4 length sleeves, modest v neck, muted robin’s egg blue. The sleeves are fluttered slightly at the wrists and at the neckline as well. New condition.
Care to guess what I paid?! Post in the comments and I’ll fill you in late tonight!
Don’t you LOVE it when you find stuff that still has the tags on? I’m going to guess $40-ish for all that stuff. Between $40-$50?
My guess is $20-25. I guess it depends on how thrifty your thrift store is though. Mine is pretty thrifty. I usually pay around $3 for new condition designer things, although my thrift store has colored tags and every week three of them are “sale” tags, meaning they are either 30, 50 or 70% off the price on the tag. You can’t beat that. I am always looking for the colors of the week. I got a GORGEOUS ripe blueberry colored 100% silk sweater from Talbots for about $2 the other day. Brand spankin new condition. Thrift stores are fun. And this post was fun. We should start a “thrift store thursday” to go with “works for me Wednesday” and “fitness Friday”. LOL!
