(If you are coming here to this post for WFMW, please see the previous linked post on Advent bags for a more complete description. It’s worth it and a really fun project!)

I posted earlier about Tonya’s idea at Kissack Chronicles. I’m a list maker and a planner so I have had the BEST time planning our bags. Now, I just need to get to Michael’s Craft store to buy some supplies. If you haven’t read the first post about this, here it is.
Here’s my master list with the activity/treat in each bag.
Dec 1: paint wooden ornament
Dec 2: candy
Dec 3: Christmas finger puppets
Dec 4: candy
Dec 5: Christmas pencils
Dec 6: snow globes
Dec 7: make Christmas cookies (candy cane cookies)
Dec 8: read-aloud story
Dec 9: candy or small activity books
Dec 10: hot chocolate (fancy with whip cream and sprinkles)
Dec 11: foam door hanger activity
Dec 12: Styrofoam ball ornaments
Dec 13: make and deliver popcorn wreaths to neighbors
Dec 14: make Christmas cookies
Dec 15: stickers or candy

Dec 17: ornament snowflake kit

Dec 20: write Christmas letter to a friend
Dec 21: make Christmas cookies
Dec 22: Christmas photo ornament
Dec 23: Christmas nic-nac or candy
Dec 24: read the Christmas story from the Bible
I also found some Bible verses, prayers and poems that are about Christmas and Christ. Along with the ingredients for the day’s activity, I’m going to put a scripture or prayer/poem in the bag as well.
Maybe I’ll post some picture (a first for my blog!! LOL) and a daily Advent Bag post?
I LOVE your big list! I am going to add the fancy hot cocoa to mine. I hadn’t even thought of that and my kids are huge cocoa fans:). Thanks for posting this
Happy Thanksgiving, Amblin and Family!
What a fun idea! I have a day to get this together!!
I have a fun tradition posted on my blog, too.
[...] it was made in India or something — so pretty!). So, what to put in it? I was inspired by ramblinamblin’s post on Advent bags. After a bit of brainstorming, I have come up with a calendar of fun stuff that isn’t going [...]
