There is a common misconception that I am courageous. I will be the first to tell you that this is not actually true. Most of the time, I am not brave. I [...]

It’s been forever since I’ve really blogged! The holidays will do that, I suppose.

I went to the thrift store again yesterday. This time it was because I was hoping to find some cheap long sleeve shirts for Mr 11 that I could cut the sleeve off one arm for his cast. It’s getting colder here and his long-sleeve shirts won’t fit around the bulk of his cast.
I didn’t [...]

Tonya was the closest guess with her guess being around $20 – 25.
Here’s what I acutally paid:
$14 total for the 4 skirts
$3 for the shirt
That equals $17 !!! Yay!!
SCORE!! Care to guess what I paid?

Posted in Leaf Turning on September 19, 2008 | 2 Comments »
I mentioned in an earlier post (http://ramblinamblins.wordpress.com/2008/09/12/final-jenny-craig-update/) that I have lost 30 pounds and 24 inches. Spring was asking how I did it…So I thought I’d try to answer a bit more in detail.
First, the 24 inches is a total taken from 4 areas (chest, waist, abdomen, and hips). I lost roughly 6 inches in chest, [...]

I know…inexcusable. No posts for a month. Yikes! I’m really sorry. Life gets busy and going around the holidays for us and I just haven’t been online a whole lot.
Jenny Craig is going so well! I’ve lost 9 pounds and 8 1/2 inches in 5 weeks. I am so excited! Even my skinny [...]
Jenny Craig, Day one

I decided I needed a little outside help (sounds rather interventionist, doesn’t it?!) to lose this pesky 20 pounds. So yesterday, I signed up for a free trial of Jenny Craig offered through our insurance company. It seems like this will be a good fit for me: outside accountability, structure, meals planned, lower calorie intake, [...]
