This is my Spools block. It’s supposed to look like spools of thread. I like how it turned out with the different fabrics. They look like hairbows to me.

Le Moyne Star and Card Trick blocks

The next block I learned to quilt is a Le Moyne Star. I used my main print as the material for the entire star. Once I quilt it, it will really make the star stand out. Currently, it’s a little “blah” but I’m hoping to change that with the quilting later on.
